Child Safety
All Designed Blinds Australia window coverings are compliant with the latest Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard - Corded Internal Window Coverings) Amendment Regulations 2010 (No.1) and are designed with child safety in mind to ensure they can be operated in a safe manner to protect your children and pets.
Please keep cords - such as looped cords, looped chains, and cords that run through window coverings - out of reach of young children. Move cots and furniture away from window covering cords, and install safety devices that remove the cord loop or reduce access to cords.
Consider installing one of our Move motorisation options, which eliminate the presence of manually operated cords and chains.
